Remain a part of the Blanchelande Family and Legacy
With an incredibly rich history traced back some 800 years, Blanchelande's later teachings also span multiple decades following the purchase of the ‘fief de Blanchelande’, the feudal estate of the former priory and school, by the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in 1902. The school re-opened in 1904 and welcomed local girls and boarders from France.
Since that time, education at Blanchelande has been delivered from varying locations; Convent teaching from St. Martins, girls at Rosaire Avenue in St. Peter Port and now as
co-educational to students aged 2-18 at its lifetime home at Les Vauxbelets, a site where the previous Vauxbelets Boys College stood and which also plays a valued part in our collective history.
Each location and cohort holds their own particular memories and special Alumni bonds, which we respect and treasure deeply. In recognition of all that has gone before and is yet to come, it was decided in 2024 to create a formal Blanchelande Alumni Association. Work has begun to achieve the aims and objectives as set out, to support the College and its students, staff and families within it, building a lasting framework for connection and a united College community.
We are therefore reaching out to re-connect with as many past Alumni as possible. Please help to share news of the Association with any of your contacts and simply register as an Alumni yourself, below.
If you have been part of the Blanchelande History, we would love you to be part of the Blanchelande future.
